April is the cruellest month
During an intense, three-week period in the summer of 2023 time slowed, almost stopped, in my father’s “death bubble”. This project was made at this time and is my reaction to the dying journey, the finality of death and the overwhelming–but not melancholic–sense of absence that permeates my life now.
The project formed my final project for my MA Photography at Falmouth which was awarded in 2024 with Distinction.
